When the Canadian dollar started to weaken last fall we provided a lot of guidance on foreign exchange transactions and translation to make sure you had these concepts covered.  Many small companies have a tendency to try and keep their cash receipts in the denomination of the invoice.  For example, should you get paid in US dollars you make sure the money is deposited in a US dollar account that way you are controlling the effects of foreign exchange.
